2020 is coming to an end. We’re on the final stretch of a year that, it’s safe to say, has been more challenging than any of us imagined. Perhaps that’s why the holiday season seems like a perfect opportunity to start anew, to travel to a place far from worries where we can refresh and recharge in hopes of beginning a new cycle in high spirits.
The Riviera Maya might be just the spot to find the peace you’re searching for. As closures have brought practically the whole world to a halt, this piece of white-sand Caribbean coast has remained a refuge where people from all around the world are welcome to rest and put their minds at ease.

While guard has remained high and sanitary measures efficient to ensure the safety of both visitors and residents, the Riviera Maya has imposed no restrictions on international travel. Moreover, major US and European airlines are resuming operations and announcing new flights to Cancun, making it an ideal destination to plan a winter holiday with no risk to your itinerary.
As the pandemic subsides in the region, gradually more businesses open to safely welcome tourists who want to spend some time at the beach and get a taste of the local hospitality.
There are also many accommodation options available to experience different facets of this paradise. Whether you want privacy and seclusion by the sea, explore hidden gems or wish to be closer to the available attractions, private villas are ideal to have a comfortable stay in touch with nature.

Marvels like Chichén Itzá, Tulum, Cobá, and other sites are receiving a controlled daily number of tourists, who can enjoy the open spaces and the cultural experiences of these archeological sites. The same is true for theme parks, cenotes, and beaches, where one can relax surrounded by nature.
