At the inauguration of the Mayan Market, the Mayor of Tulum specified that the municipal government will continue working hard so that the artistic expression and the harvests produced by the inhabitants of the communities are sold directly, without intermediaries and that the works of art reach all corners of the world. The market showcases the Mayan roots, traditions, creativity and gastronomy. The products are of artistic, cultural and gastronomic wealth as well as many organic fruits, vegetables and fresh produce right from the backyards of the Mayans. Here they will have all the support and tools necessary to carry out their trades and in doing so at this once a month market they can make up to 50% of their monthly income.

Their unique works make them our main ambassadors, therefore they will have the full support of the municipal administration. After so many years of forgetting these people and their traditions the Mercado Maya will be the space where they can show their talent and sell their products.
